State of the Family Report 2004

HAPPY together – that is what families in Singapore are, generally.  Trends show that Singaporeans have pro-family attitudes, and there is a strong consensus that the family is the buttress of emotional and financial support.
These findings are highlighted in a report on the State of the Family in Singapore compiled by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) and the Committee on the Family, a people-sector led civic group committed to the mission of developing strong and stable families.
The report on the State of the Family in Singapore draws from several surveys and published data and was put together to encourage more serious discussion on family issues.  Click here for the executive summary.
