You live in your community, now it's time to be a part of it!

Getting involved in the community makes it easier for you to connect with others and helps to bring the whole community closer together.

The Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), and  their partners promote and support individuals, companies, schools and community organizations in getting more involved in their community.

Whatever resources you may have - skills, money, time - could be greatly needed by groups within your community. Find out how to contribute:

Volunteer Your Time gives you the basics on where to go when you want to share your time with others. You'll find that there are many opportunities to volunteer that will suit you!

Donate to Charities provides you with information on where to go when you choose to donate to worthy groups in your community - it's easy to play a part by donating to one of the active and valuable groups that exist in Singapore.

Want to get even more involved? Find what you need to know to Set Up a Voluntary Welfare Organisation.

MCYS works with community and non-profit organisations to encourage community bonding and social harmony. You can find out how to Promote Racial Harmony & Community Bonding here.
