Interested in finding out how to be a Volunteer but don't know where to start? This is the place!
Volunteering can be easier than you think so find out by getting involved!
To start, you can visit the E-Match service by the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC). There you can find resources on volunteering, and an automated online system to help you find a good match to a volunteer organisation.
Like to volunteer for an event or on ad-hoc project basis instead? You can refer to their Bulletin Board - you might find something that fits you perfectly!
You can find a Directory on Non-Profit Organisations (NPO) at NVPC as well. There are organisations and opportunities to suit almost everyone. These include environmental conservation, health, sports, arts and culture, infocomms and social service.
To find a volunteer opportunity specifically in the social service sector, you can go straight to the Volunteer Circle at the National Council of Social Service (NCSS).
Within your very own local community, you can check out options at your local Community Development Councils (CDCs) - help out close to home!
For general volunteering information, you can visit NVPC's website to explore the active and dynamic volunteer scene in Singapore.
