The Enable a Family (EAF) Volunteer Scheme is run by MCYS, who works with families of violence, neglect or abuse.

EAF recruits volunteers to befriend these families and to act as an additional support to help them cope with their daily challenges.

The scheme has several goals:

• to ensure safety of children
• to ensure that children live safely within their families
• to improve the coping abilities of families
• to link families to available resources in the community to enrich their lives and help them move forward.
