You may find it difficult to do all these on your own, and need help. Here are information on available services and programmes that can help you to achieve your goal.

Counselling Programmes

Counselling will help you to manage your aggression and anger. For counselling to succeed, you need to adopt a positive attitude to it and believe that change is possible.

Where to find Counselling Programmes

  • Family Service Centres (FSCs):

FSCs provide individual and family counselling for the public. Some also run groupwork for abusers, victims and child witnesses of violence. A support group helps participants know that they are not alone in their situation. You can learn from one another and get support to break free from violence.

You can call them up to make an appointment to see a counsellor. Click here for list of FSCs.

  • Centre for Promoting Alternatives to Violence (PAVe):

Centre for PAVe is a specialised one stop centre for families living with violence in their homes. They provide individual and family counselling and a whole array of preventive and rehabilitative programmes to help families affected by violence. Their aim is to promote a community that is free from violence.
