Government-Paid Maternity Leave Scheme
1. The employee should submit to your company -
GML1 - Declaration by Employee
(to be submitted at least one week before the start of her maternity leave)
2. If your company does not have a standing GIRO account for CPF Contributions or if the designated bank account is not an OCBC or UOB account, please complete and send GML 4 – Direct Credit Authorisation (only original copy accepted) to us at least one week before you submit an online claim application. Please ensure that GML 4 is endorsed by your bank before the form is sent to us.

3. In the e-submission application forms, you will be required to convert your bank details for our administration purposes. For information on how you should convert your account, please refer to the CPF bank conversion table below.

4. To submit a reimbursement claim for maternity leave taken, please click on one of the relevant links below. You will need a SingPass in order to submit your claim online.
Claims by Employers:
E-submission Application for Reimbursement On Government-Paid Maternity Leave For Employers
Please ensure you have the following information before applying for the maternity leave reimbursement online.
a) Employer CPF Reference No.
b) Maternity Leave dates
c) Salary details of employee
d) Child Birth Cert. No. and Date of Birth
e) Birth order/Confinement order
f) Converted bank account no. (see point 3 above)
Claims by Self-Employed Mothers:
E-submission Application for Reimbursement On Government-Paid Maternity Leave For Self-Employed
Please ensure you have the following information before applying for the maternity leave reimbursement online.
a) Maternity Leave dates
b) Average net monthly income (based on latest available IRAS assessment)
c) Child Birth Cert. No. and Date of Birth
d) Birth order/Confinement order
e) Converted bank account no. (see point 3 above)
The processing time for electronically submitted maternity leave claims is 3 weeks. Incomplete submission or inaccurate information would result in a delay in processing.
