Children need love and support. Children with disabilities are no exception, although they have special needs and requirements. There are programmes that can help parents and caregivers better understand the potential and limitations of their child - and how to work to help them grow and thrive. Each child deserves a chance to be all he or she can be - and there are programmes available to help!

Medical Assessment and Referral
Identification of your child's special needs, as well as getting involved in their mental, emotional and physical growth is important to help fulfill each child's potential. If you are concerned about your child's development, you can bring your child for a medical assessment at the following centres:

Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children
This programme takes a holistic yet individualised approach to provide therapy, social and educational intervention for children with disabilities.  This can help in the maximisation of each child's potential.

Integrated Childcare Centre Programme
There are childcare centres with trained professionals that also take in children with disabilities.  Find out more about this programme and locations available.

Therapy for Young Children
These programmes assist a person diagnosed with multiple congenital or acquired disabilities, in adapting emotionally and physically to the environment
